Confidentiality And Access To Medical Records
You have a right of access to your medical records. If you wish to see your medical records, please put your request in writing to Mrs Mary Rosser. We are allowed by law to charge a fee to cover our administration costs.
It may sometimes be necessary for us to share information with other agencies, for example to notify a birth, but we only ever pass on information if people have a genuine need for it in your interest. Further information on the sharing of information is available at the surgery.
Everyone working for the NHS has a legal duty to keep information confidential.

The Freedom of Information
Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme
is a guide to the ‘classes’ of information the practice intends to
routinely make available. This scheme is available from reception.
