GP REGISTRAR TRAINING

Brookfield Surgery is a training practice for GP Registrars. It is sometimes necessary for consultations to be video recorded for teaching purposes. Patients will be notified and their consent sought prior to any video consultations.

PRACTICE MANAGER

The Practice Manager is Mrs Mary Rosser and she is responsible for the overall smooth running and organisation of the practice. She is happy to hear your comments - both good and bad.

PRACTICE ADMINISTRATION STAFF

The practice has a full complement of administration staff covering reception, secretarial and IT duties.
The reception staff are happy to help and advise. It may sometimes be necessary for them to ask you for some information in order to ensure that you are receiving the most appropriate level of service. All practice staff adhere strictly to the practice confidentiality policy.


The Practice Nurses can be consulted directly by appointment. Please attend for advice and information regarding:

Well woman and men's health issues Cervical smears
Dietary advice and weight management Flu vaccines

8.30 - 10.20am by appointment only.

ATTACHED STAFF

Health Visitor

The health visitor can be contacted by telephoning the Clinic on 01925 217232.

Community Midwife

The Midwife provides antenatal and postnatal visits in conjunction with your doctor.

Dietitian

Mrs Margaret Whiley, to whom patients may be referred for specialist dietary advice, is in the practice on Thursdays.

District Nurses

District Nurses are attached to the practice and attend at 11.30am each weekday. They will help you with dressings, removal of stitches and general nursing advice. Where home nursing is required patients should arrange with their doctor for the district nurse to call. The hospital will normally arrange for a sister to call on patients discharged early who still require nursing treatment at home.
